I visited KATCHAWANOOKA RESORT on the recommendation of a Canadian friend who is an experienced carp fisherman. I live in the U.K and although I have fished extensively in France, Spain, and U.S.A. I can honestly say that this trip was the best I have had. The fishing, very important of course, was great with many carp in the mid 20's to 30 lbs range. All hard fighting lean river fish.

The cottage is clean, comfortable, warm, B.B.Q with all facilities. Fishing right outside the door, with complete freedom to fish whenever I wanted.

My hosts, Sholeh and Moe, could not have done more for me. Nothing was too much trouble.

Travel from the U.K is very easy with direct flights to Toronto and then just a 2 hour drive to the resort.

I am certainly going back there.

Thanks again for another great year at Katchawanooka , spring summer or fall everything was top notch . The improvements you have made to the resort are outstanding and the updates to the facilities are exceptional . Being carp fisherman we had another good year landing over 600 lbs. of fish . We are looking forward to our first visit next spring and seeing you again .
